Can I Replace Normal Lights with LED Lights Myself?

Yes. You can replace screw-in bulbs with LED bulbs yourself if the base and voltage match. Turn off the switch and let bulbs cool before swapping. For hardwired fixtures, new recessed lights, under-cabinet strips, or adding dimmers, use a licensed electrician. Use dimmable LEDs with compatible dimmers to prevent flicker or buzz. If a fixture has integrated LEDs or a driver, it’s a pro job. We serve Ladue and St. Louis homes.
